It’s about fucking time. Fortnite has been the biggest and most played game in the industry for over two years now, and that is in no small part thanks to Ninja.

I don’t want to take too much credit away from Epic Games because they have done an incredible job with this game, but it wouldn’t be where it is today without Ninja. His streams and gameplay clips hyped the game up back when all the promotions and weekly updates were nonexistent.

I mean, his stream with Drake, Travis Scott, and JuJu Smith-Schuster is legendary. It had never been done before. No one had reached that level of pop culture influence by streaming video games. But Tyler Blevins did, and he got two of the biggest artists and an up and coming NFL player to play Fortnite with him live on stream.

He deserves this more than anyone else in the streaming game. I think it’s long overdue, but it’s finally been done.

Huge congratulations to Ninja and his fans. It’ll probably the most bought skin of all-time.

P.S. I predicted that he and his wife Jessia were going to have a baby and I spent all morning compiling a list of great “baby Ninja” names. Guess I’m gonna have to save that for another time…
